I have to say, even though my manager is not a fan of Telerik's Kendo UI because of it integration with jQuery, the Kendo UI grid system is pretty sweet. It's a grid system for displaying tabular data that has so much functionality built in that has made my job so much easier. I was originally going to build out my own table but there are so many requirements for the current project that there is no way I could have accomplished everything in the timeframe the project was scheduled to launch in. The grid does horizontal scrolling if you can't fit all of your columns in a confined space, which I can't. There is support for multiple languages and cultures which I need. There is pagination, sorting and filtering that can ping the server to get more data as needed. Add to this the ability to add a drop down menu to reload the grid with data from other data sources without having to redraw the whole grid and you have a sweet little workflow manager. I did have a couple of issues that I was able to resolve with transparencies and IE8 but those were caused by the non-Kendo modal code I am using. The previous modal didn't have these issues but when we migrated to a newer version, the issues occured but were fixable by overriding the transparency settings in the CSS.
